We pride ourselves in being able to offer you and your pet a comprehensive and first class Veterinary service.
At Merlin we are small enough to offer you a personal service through each of our 4 branch surgeries but large enough to have the knowledge and expertise to provide your pet with the best possible veterinary care.
Each branch offers consultation, diagnostic (Xray, endoscopy, blood biochemistry testing, ultrasound etc) and surgical facilities. For more specialised surgical procedures we may transfer your pet to Galashiels. Our acupuncture treatments are usually performed at Kelso but may be available at other branches by arrangement.
Comfortable and safe kenneling facilities are available for all in patients supervised by our experienced team of Veterinary nurses. The nursing team will advise you on how to care for your pet before and after surgery and are always available to advise on matters such as diet, parasite control and behavioral problems.
We recommend an annual health check for all our pets. At this time any health issues can be assessed before they become a problem. Routine vaccinations, worming and flea control can be carried out and any questions answered.
To arrange an appointment please telephone your local branch. If you require emergency treatment for your pet please use the same branch phone number. Our vets are available 24hours every day of the year to ensure that your pet does not suffer. We are also happy to offer free telephone advice during office hours.
We stock a range of pet accessories and pet foods and are happy to advise you on the most suitable product for your pet.
